May – very noticed performance of Tourist organization of municipality Trebinje at Fair of tourism in Zagreb;
May–June – maps of Trebinje – Serbian and English version - printed in 5000 copies;
June – active participation in project “Trebinja – healthy town”;
August – set new internet presentation of Tourist organization of municipality Trebinje;
August - performance of Tourist organization of municipality Trebinje at fair in Zrenjanin;
September – performance at fair Eco-ethno Croatia in Zagreb and medal won for foreign performer;
September – on the occasion of the World's Day of Tourism in Tuzla, Tourist organization of municipality Trebinje was awarded Gold tourist rose for promotion of tourism of Trebinje's municipality;
October - at Fair of tourism in Novi Sad, Tourist organization of municipality Trebinje got Gold medal for quality of promotional material;
October – reception in Ministry of trade and tourism at minister Predrag Gluhakovic on the occasion of won prizes and performances at the fairs;
October – Trebinje's municipality gave the room for usage in the centre of the town precisely, in which Tourist informative centre will be opened;
December – United Nations Development Programme accepted the project for equipping of Tourist informative centre, which will be accomplished in the second half of 2009.
